Is Your Smok TFV12 Leaking? Here's How To Fix It

Leaky tanks are a bummer, and it can happen to any model under the right conditions. We've had some questions specifically about how to stop the Smok TFV12 Cloud Beast King from leaking, so here are a few simple things to check out and try to keep your vape juice where it belongs.

It could be a simple issue with your coil causing the leak. Here are a few things to look at.

1. Cotton quality. If the cotton has lost its consistency or become deformed, it will mess up your airflow and could cause leaks.

2. Coil is too loose. This would be the simplest problem to fix - you'll just need to double check if the coil is seated proprly and firmly screwed in.

3. Bad coil seal. Sometimes the premade factory coils that come with the tank can have a bad seal which will cause leaking. This doesn't happen too often, but every now and then this can occur.

4. A burned coil. If your coil has reached the point that it's burnt, it can cause leaks due to the improper vaporization. Plus a burnt coil leads to a poor vaping experience since it'll negatively impact the taste of your e-juice.

5. A bad seal. Sometimes the rubber o-ring can have a bad seal, which will cause leaks. If you see any wires poking out of the rubber seal, you can use a small screwdriver to gently push the wire back in to stop leaking from the vents.

If your tank is still leaking after this and you're not sure why, feel free to bring your setup to our shop in Austin and we'll be happy to take a look at it.
